Majora’s Mask a possibility for 3DS, Nintendo says
Nintendo’s last Legend of Zelda release was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS glasses-free 3-D handheld. The Ocarina of Time is considered one of the best games ever by some gamers. The title originally released for the Nintendo 64 and was just remastered in 3-D for the 3DS with updated graphics and content. Since the 3DS version is successful, the next Zelda game Nintendo should bring to the 3DS would be the other Nintendo 64 Zelda title, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
In an interview with the Nintendo Power magazine, Nintendo producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed that Nintendo is interested in giving Majora’s Mask a 3-D remastering treatment like its sister game Ocarina of Time.
“One of the big things that made [Ocarina of Time 3D] possible was that there was an outpour of emotions from people who said they would like to see this game done. I think certainly if there was a similar output of emotion and clamor from fans for a remake of Majora’s Mask; it wouldn’t be an utter impossibility,” he said.

Majora’s Mask is currently available on the Nintendo Wii Console downloadable service, Virtual Console.
