4 new titles added to Nintendo Selects budget line
Nintendo has announced today four more new additions to its Nintendo Selects line of $20 bargain-priced games for the Nintendo Wii Console. The new additions include Mario Strikers Charged, Punch-Out, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario. Each title will retail for $19.99 on August 28.
New League of Legends trailer shows off Dominion mode
Developer Riot games released a new trailer that shows off the new capture and hold mode dubbed Dominion coming soon to the free-to-play League of Legends, according to the video game website Shacknews. The trailer featured a mix of gameplay segments with behind-the-scenes chat from employees at Riot Games. The new mode is proposed to give players more condensed bursts of League of Legends.
Catherine sales set record for Atlus
Catherine is already developer Atlus’ biggest launch title ever one week after release, according to the video game website IGN. Atlus shipped the most units at launch — 200,000 to be exact — for any Atlus game in the company’s history.
Majora’s Mask a possibility for 3DS, Nintendo says
Nintendo’s last Legend of Zelda release was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS glasses-free 3-D handheld. The Ocarina of Time is considered one of the best games ever by some gamers. The title originally released for the Nintendo 64 and was just remastered in 3-D for the 3DS with updated graphics and content. Since the 3DS version is successful, the next Zelda game Nintendo should bring to the 3DS would be the other Nintendo 64 Zelda title, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
In an interview with the Nintendo Power magazine, Nintendo Producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed that Nintendo is interested in giving Majora’s Mask a 3-D remastering treatment like its sister game Ocarina of Time.
Uncharted film adaptation going back to the video game source material
Former director of the film adaptation of Uncharted, David O. Russell, who once described his version of the movie as a family “that deals with heads of state and heads of museums and metes out justice,” caused a commotion with the fans of the franchise.

Take-Two CEO: Tablet games could cost $40
iPad and tablet gaming is on the rise. Most games for tablets are normally under $10 in cost, but as tablet games become more robust like console games for the Xbox 360 system, the apps will cost more to develop, so game makers would want more money in return to cover those higher costs, according to the video game news website IndustryGamers.
