iPad and tablet gaming is on the rise. Most games for tablets are normally under $10 in cost, but as tablet games become more robust like console games for the Xbox 360 system, the apps will cost more to develop, so game makers would want more money in return to cover those higher costs, according to the video game news website IndustryGamers.

PlayStation Network outage affecting developers
Sony Computer Entertainment’s PlayStation Network online service has been down for almost seven days now. As frustrating as it’s been for PlayStation 3 users, it’s possibly even more maddening for the entire community of independent developers who’ve made games for PSN and rely on download revenues as part of their business model.
