Brink preview

Brinkhello

Developer Splash Damage is finally coming out with an online shooter that has nothing to do with Quake or Wolfenstein. Brink is a multiplayer team-based game featuring multiple classes. In addition to online multiplayer, it also offers an offline single-player mode, although the real fun is in the multiplayer mode.

Rage’s weapons and combat

Playstation 3 160 GBhello

If there is one game that the majority of the gaming crowd is waiting for it just has to be Rage. I’m sure everyone knows that it’s been a long time since id Software has released a new series or, in fact, a new game! So the expectations for Rage might just have gone overboard, although we would love to be proven wrong. And if there’s anyone who’s good at proving people wrong, it just has to be id Software and the lot of geniuses they have.

Nintendo 3DS first impressions

Nintendo 3DShello

It’s been more than a year since the Nintendo 3DS was announced, and boy did it get our expectations skyrocketing. After getting my hands on it, I have got to hand it to Nintendo and their ability to display a game in 3-D on a handheld device without the use of 3-D glasses! Now I could go on about how awesome it is, but you would only know once you experience it! Coming to the device itself, it’s a well known fact that a game in 3-D wouldn’t really have…

I’m all out of bubblegum

Xbox 360, PS3, PChello

Their is good news. Duke Nukem will be making his return in the near future, and judging by the screenshots, there’s a lot to look forward to.

Halo: Reach Defiant map pack

Halo: Reachhello

Halo: Reach’s second expansion of downloadable content is finally out! It was first announced at a Microsoft showcase event in San Francisco sometime back. This is the first DLC for Halo: Reach developed outside of Bungie Studios. This was developed by Austin-based studio Certain Affinity who was also responsible for making maps for Call of Duty: Black Ops, World at War, and Halo 2. Well if those titles don’t tell you that this map pack inst good then nothing will! This new add on updates the Firefight and online multiplayer modes of Reach with…

Red Faction: Armageddon gets a release date

Red Faction: Armageddonhello

If there ever was game that I would call explosive, it just had to be Red Faction: Guerrilla. Red Faction: Armageddon happens to be the direct sequel to Guerrilla. Here you happen to play Darius Mason who happens to be the grandson of Alec Mason so, as you can see, a lot of time has passed. The gameplay and the new weapons which include the Magnet gun and its limitless capabilities combined with ability to destroy and rebuild everything around you makes this game one of the most fun and…

Duke Nukem Forever multiplayer details

Duke Nukem Foreverhello

When I first heard that Duke Nukem was making a comeback, I was excited as it was one of those games which I played while growing up. Now when it comes to Duke Nukem games, well, you really should be expecting a lot. For those of you who played the game, it will still be all about the catchy lines, tacky humor, and the all-out solo killing of all your enemies. Honestly, I’m glad they didn’t change things, because if they did, it wouldn’t be Duke Nukem! Developer Gearbox did…

New weapons in ‘Saints Row: The Third’

Saints Row: The Thirdhello

After defeating all the gangs in Stillwater, and having overthrown the influence of the Ultor Corporation on the city services, you thought you had done enough in Saints Row 2. Well not enough as things certainly have changed as you find yourself in prison only to be broken out by someone who threatens to let you live provided you give up two-thirds of your gang. Well of course Johnny Gat isn’t going to agree to something like that, and that’s how Saints Row: The Third begins! Well now a lot of things have changed since Saints Row 2, but the most striking thing is the new access to weapons.

New content announced for ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D’

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3Dhello

Gamers won’t have to wait too long between the launch of the glass-free 3-D Nintendo 3DS handheld and the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, but Nintendo has got gamers backs by adding some new content to make up for it.

Electronic Arts: No more game manuals

Xbox 360 Harddrivehello

Over the past few years, you would have noticed that most game manuals have been shrinking in size, and nowadays you’d probably not find them in most games. This is an initiative taken up by many game publishers to reduce their paper consumption, and produce games in a more environmentally friendly manner.

SupaBoy: the handheld SNES

hello

There are a handful of absolutely golden SNES games that haven’t made their way to Virtual Console, as of yet. (Where, for the love of god, is Earthbound?!?!?)
